Meet us (Emmanuel & Michel)

Emmanuel DUSHIMIRIMANA

Founder & Head of Operations

>> I want to help children in my home country because I know how hard it is to grow up without parents. It's the best feeling when I see their happy and grateful smiles.<<

Emmanuel lost his parents in the Rwandan genocide in 1994 when he was still a baby. He grew up in the orphanage Noel Nyondo, which was closed in 2012. At the time, he was attending 3rd grade secondary school, but without the financial support of the orphanage, he would not have been able to successfully complete his education. When he saw that mostly very poor families were providing shelter for the young orphans, he decided to help them and set up a support and sponsorship program for their education.  NIYONAMBAJE NSENGIYUMVA Jean Michel

Legal Representative & Head of Finance

 >> We joined hands together to kiss our past and follow god’s plan (Luke: 2:40) <<

Michel lives in Rugerero, Rwanda. He lost his mother at a very young age and his father when he was in secondary school. Therefore, it was difficult for him to finance his education. But he was fortunate to find some supporters who paid his school fees and helped him graduate because he did well in class. At that time, he promised himself that one day he would use all his energy to help children get a good education and build a foundation for their future. Life was not easy, because he decided to study during the day so that he would have time to work on the weekends, for example, to make bricks to earn money and to support his family.

Today, Michel is working as Finance Director at another school in Gisenyi, in addition to his duties at Kunda Village Ministry. This is also where he and Emmanuel met the first time and decided to join their forces.
